A Foundation Apprenticeship comes in three parts, a National Vocational Qualification, a Technical Certificate both of which are set at level II and Key Skills. This qualification is seen as an intermediate level and one, which is the ideal preparation to propel you onto an Advanced Apprenticeship.

The Advanced Apprenticeship also comes in three parts the National Vocational Qualification and Technical Certificate are at level III; Key Skills are also at a higher level. An Advanced Apprenticeship provides you with the skills, experience and qualifications needed to become one of the technicians and managers of the future. You can even move onto a higher education course, for example, a Higher National Diploma, foundation degree or related vocational degree.

We will find you a job with an employer who’s offering an Apprenticeship. You will be doing real work within that company and they along with Milltech will help you to get the qualifications you need. You will attend day release courses at our city centre base in Sunderland. Here you will study for Technical Certificate and Key Skills awards, we will provide you with all the support necessary to enable you to succeed in your chosen career path.
